Hate speech is free speech. People have the right to be ignorant assholes. Twitter is a private company though. It should be allowed to block or ban anyone for any reason.

It’s a perfectly valid argument to make, even though it’s not proof either way. It’s a he said/she said situation with no evidence and it occured 16 years ago. What else is he supposed to do? False accusations are not unheard of.

Articles like this are disingenuous at best. These systems do not identify anyone. They give possibilities. Nobody is getting arrested based solely on facial recognition so making a big deal about the false hits is ridiculous. There is absolutely nothing controversial about this. If you are in public, then someone can have a camera pointed at you. A drone is less invasive than cameras on the ground. They would be used for a general overview and probably not to target specific people.

Hypocrisy is the one thing that the right wing is consistent on.
