You are making a big assumption. For the relatively small amounts of money, it’s far more likely that the NRA is supporting candidates that share their views versus buy them.

What an idiotic article.
It won’t help liars. Its not a good article for spotting lies.
I don’t always agree with the financial advise on this site, but this one is spot on. You never know what the future will bring. Don’t risk your house for a stupid car.
I don’t mind saying it. It’s a bunch of crap perpetuated by liberals.
Is it GSM only?
So much for those cars ever being adorable.
You sound like a car dealers dream.
Bernie is not exiting because he is waiting for Hillary’s indictment.
Ha. That was my first thought too. It reminds me of the ads for car dealerships. In large print it says $30,000 - $10,000 = $20,000. In small print it says $2,000 off plus $8,000 down payment.
I didn’t see any mention of the large number of people who use the health care system but pay absolutely nothing. That has to take a toll on the prices the rest of us pay.
You can have your paycheck direct deposited into as many counts as you want. (at least I can). I opened an account at a bank I don’t normally use. Each week a little money goes into that account. I don’t see it and if I want access to it, I have to actually go to the bank and withdraw. It’s an easy way to save some…
Another win for the PC police.
Anyone who disagrees with the left is a bigot or racist.
I’m pretty sure some of these were thrown in just to cause an argument.
If you spent a little less time going out of your way to be condescending and self righteous, and a little more time making an intelligent counterpoint, then we could have had an adult discussion.
I’m sure there is some extreme example somewhere, ie someone who could not qualify for term, but for 99.9% of the population I think they are ridiculous. We can agree to disagree... :)
I’ll retract my initial statement as too definitive. :). I have heard enough bad stories though that I would still be hard pressed to ever put my money in an annuity. Maybe I’ll reconsider if I reach the point where I max out on 401k and Roth IRA. That’s a good problem to have.
I appreciate the thoughtful reply. My (extremely simplified) understanding of how they work is... I invest money into an annuity, the company invests the money, pays me some of the returns and keeps the rest. I could have invested in the same mutual funds, index funds, bonds ect and kept the entire return and my money…
Can you give me an example why you would recommend an annuity? Generally I think they are horrible products, but you know more about them then I do (sincere) so I’m curious.
