I read The Hunger Games a week before the movie came out, so I had Lenny Kravits in my mind anyway - but I'll admit, Jay Manuel would have been an epic choice. Epic.

I'm still shaking my head at the internet for that, years later. Can. Not. Understand.

OMG me too! I thought I was the only one!

I was disappointed when Lenny Kravitz was cast, because for some reason I pictured Cinna as in his mid-to-late 20s. But Lenny's performance actually ended up being one of my favorite parts of the movie.

I never saw Precious, so he was new to me as anything but a singer. I wasn't sure that a rock star could be as understated as Cinna. Obviously, I was completely wrong, and I'm sure that I'll be feeling it even more this coming weekend!

Why though? Kravitz was awesome in Precious.

Dear Sam Claflin,

I pictured Cinna as Stanley Tucci. Then when I heard that he was cast in the movie, I was psyched....except it turned out that he wasn't cast as Cinna. I thought Kravitz did well with the role though, and I had low expectations due to the musician/actor transition.

"Not a pantydropper" Let me stop you right there and clear something up.

Jay Manuel would have been hilarious, but I really do enjoy Lenny Kravitz in the role.

Well, the big difference between Gabby and skinny people is that no one would question her right to be happy the way she is if she was skinny (and getting told to eat a burger is in no way on the same level as the hate and vitriol she gets for just daring to exist and not apologizing or telling is she is on a diet).

But every time someone posts a story about Adriana Lima do people immediately ponder weather she has an eating disorder or not? Do they wonder about her BMI? How Miranda Kerr? When is the last time you saw someone concerned for her health because she's below average weight for her height? If anything, people are

What what? Alleged rapist? Oh hell. Please no. I hadn't heard that, and found him so utterly likeable. That makes four for four Voice judges who are awful human beings, if so.

Preach, sister! Cee-Lo is a fat alleged rapist and they just increase his sequin budget!

This is a fucking awesome post. I wish I could buy you a Saturday night margarita.

Ugh. Exactly. If you scroll through the thread you can see the OP say "I'm fat, but not THAT fat"

I wanted to write this thread, in part because I wish someone on Jezebel would post another article on body acceptance, and also because I can't stand some of these "her size is soooooo unhealthy" comments. This is an article celebrating someone unique in Hollywood, a black woman, a woman whose body doesn't fit in

But who is it that should not accept it, and what form should this lack of acceptance take? What should be done to her? What should her audience do?

Part of what I love about Gabourey is that she literally shouldn't exist in Hollywood: She is not only an plus-size woman on the larger end of the spectrum, but she's also a dark-skinned African American woman. And she just kicks ass. She's confident and smart and talented and does not give one single fuck about what

and I'm sure she's crying into her pillow right now because of your disapproval.
