I admire the reviewer for even trying to "explain" this stupidity of tv writing.
WHO approved this plot? A fan of "Bold and Beautiful"? the producer of "Young and Restless"? WHO?
Every bit of dialogue between Oliver and Felicity was awful, stupid and idiotic.
To the point they are ruining Felicity's character for some

Feels more like if they stopped caring for their own show.

I did that last season. No other season of any show had made me as angry as TGW 6th season did.
So for me, this season is an improvement. I have accepted it has missed its opportunity for more greatness after season 5 and I enjoy the actors, the few great moments and some of the characters.
And I will miss this show.

These reviews are awful. I now come here only for the comments and I won't read any of these reviews again. The reviewer does not like/enjoy/love/whatever the show anymore and should be NOT reviewing it.
I believe this is a mediocre season, compared to the good ones, but it is much better than last years abomination.

We disagree here. I was never a fan of Calista. I am becoming now thanks to this show.

Evil supergirl at her evilness peak was so much looking like a slut character from an 80's soap opera! The makeup, the hairstyle, damn I even checked if her black suit had any shoulder pads! Scary sh1t!

I quite enjoyed it!
The only plot that leaves me cold is the whole "firm music chairs". At this point I do not care. I dunno if this is a reality in the world of US law firms, but on tv it is boring after the 2nd time and we are in our 4th now. Or is the 5th?? not sure anymore..

they are always idiots who speed and intersections without big visibility. At least in my city (Athens), all lights go green would lead to a carnage !

I didnt mind really, I am glad they didn't made her a mirror-Scully.

Well said!
I do not expect everyone to like it, of course not, but at least try to watch it through the right perspective.
I had a wide smile on my face during the whole 1st episode, even while Anderson and (especially) Duchovny were delivering horrible dialogue in a bad acting way. Yeah yeah it was that horrible

yep, thought of Fringe as well :D

I do agree about Carter, he is the creator and all this, but if we get an 12th season he should write 1 episode, top!
But I still don't hate this one! :)

indeed.
I am among the few here that enjoyed it but the songs were so poorly chosen.

I agree.
I am trying to understand the negativity, apparently people expected 6 perfect episodes. Or they have forgotten how X-files where 15 years ago. Or they didn't even watch back then.
Well I dunno, I don't get the reactions here. And mind you, I find the last episode of the 10th season ("the truth") probably the

But I didn't find it as bad as you did.
For me it was an entertaining episode. Did it have flows? probably but I just don't focus on them. Now if you find it as bad as you say, well I am sorry it didn't work for you.

I think the few episodes is the main problem. It would be ideal if they could go for 10 or 12.
But you know what, I am not gonna complain. I even found good moments in the first episode. I got my fine dose of Mulder and Scully. I am not gonna ruin this by thinking it could be much better.
It is like if someone gives

I enjoyed it. I enjoyed it a lot. What can I say.
Yep it had its faults, it was weirdly trippy, but "atrocious"? nah not really.

Did they fix/change the wig or is it my idea? It was less distracting than last episode and less creepy.

hmm… it is not as bad as last year, definitely has its good moments and it is the farewell season.
I say yes. I doubt the remaining 8 episodes will make this a good season, but still… if there is not a spin of, I will miss most of those characters.

Some people simply cannot be pleased (hint hint the reviewer).
It was fine episode as were its funny scenes.
