Joan Cusack rules as always and yes, that run is great.
The strength of the central characters’ relationships could fill several columns, but let’s not forget James L Brooks’ typically strong supprting cast. His movies have always had a great “no small roles” quality. Nicholson looms over the lower-tiered talent like both a lure and a threat, and Joan Cusack is just a…
Back when studios didn’t clear the runway for box office. Hard to think that the kind of busy weekends that were the constant in 82-85 (86?) could ever happen again in the meticulously planned release schedules we have the past few years... or if they will ever happen again because *gestures around at everything*.

I can’t wait to visit a Wawa. Isn’t their coffee good too?
I only know about Wawa because of "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia" (Californian here; we just have to make do with our sad 7-11s and AM-PMs)
If Al’s going back, can he pick me up a tuna shortie and a chocolate f’real?

Also, yes, we just want to party in the streets. It’s a thing. Philly loves a…
My superpowers are gifs and pausing the DVD at just the right moment for hilarious facial expressions.
I remember when Abercrombie & Fitch made a shirt that said “Two Wongs Make it White” back when they were a trendy brand. From that day forth I boycotted them and made sure everyone knew why.
A lot of people think that anti-Asian racism either doesn’t exist, doesn’t matter, or they will get away with it.
More my son’s story than my own, but:
We spent many summers in Ontario to visit relatives, but the best story is my sister in Montreal.
I didn’t know other people did this. My grandma always served sharp white cheddar with apple pie so I thought it was normal, but anytime visitors would come over or I’d visit somewhere else everyone was all “wtf are you talking about cheese with pie?”
