same with me, i’ll still always have fond memories of the books and films, but I already said goodbye to the franchise a decade ago and since then i’ve only really read HP fanfiction and that’s been enough for me, so whatever Rowling says isn’t going to make me like the series any less.

I don’t think she is a transphobic bigot so much as someone who is genuinely confused due to her own upbringing(and she admitted as much in her statement that back in the 80s she might’ve had Gender Dysphoria herself but because nobody really talked about that sort of thing back then there wasn’t much she could do…
