In a way, she reminds me of Debra from Everybody Loves Raymond—albeit in a more laid-back, less cynical way. It seems to me that the "bedroom debrief" scenes are a direct throwback to Raymond and Debra (I even wonder if the fact that her name is Debbie is some sort of wink)

I only wish they would get Kumail back on…he pretty much stole his scenes in the pilot as the only one who couldn't believe what Dean was getting away with in court

To be honest, I really don't understand why anyone would be pissed off by vegetarians. I've always like Bourdain a lot, and I'm pretty tolerant of his crustiness in general. But this I don't get.

Yeah, so far I've still been able to enjoy watching Adam Baldwin even though it seems as though in real life he is a pretty unpleasant guy. Ironically, maybe it's that very fact that gives his sneering glares and dismissive attitudes toward other characters added depth. Lots of life experience

Dave Shumka and Graham Clark up in Vancouver always have really funny guests on Stop Podcasting Yourself—Ivan Decker, Charlie Demers, Brad Butt, Erica Sigurdsen (sp?); I'm really envious of the comedy scene up there.
