The explosion was planned, but Ledger's response was ad-libbed. That thing he does beforehand where he's expecting the explosion and messing with the detonator was improvised, knowing he had a little time before the hospital blew up.

I'm really hoping for a "Mac Comes Out" episode next season and predicting that his entire thing gets derailed by Dennis getting more attention from the gay community than Mac.

I'm very torn on how I feel about the movie. Overall, I quite enjoyed it, but the blatant stalling was a bit much. Cutting the fat and leaving what I loved would make this a B+ film, but with all the meaningful stares and pregnant pauses this felt like a generous B- film at times.

Rudy's complete inability to decipher Jess's sarcasm never stopped being funny and the probation worker's karaoke scene was pretty fantastic. Does he have a name yet or has he just been 'the probation worker' so far? Alex's almost suicide scene was also pretty great, if not a bit on the nose.

That was the first thing I thought too. Otherwise, I was okay with everything here.

I liked how Rudy Prime punctuated that dramatic death scene with an immediate "I'll grab the shovels."

I think you mean "Finn on Harry Potter", Rowan.

Yea. That place looked secluded. The time was a bit hard to parse, but it looked like it took a day or half a day's travel by car to reach Skyfall and Silva's squad lasted all of twenty minutes in film time, which shouldn't have been enough time to reach Bond.
