I was pretty grossed out with the reactions and hate people threw at one of the character designers when he decided to share some concept art for April. Such racist and useless vitriol being thrown when it was completely unjustified and rude.

Frankly, I was completely fine with the series being a legit straight adaptation of the full story from the comic considering the film left out a BUNCH of stuff especially big characters like Lisa.

You'd be forgiven if you forgot since the movie cut that plot point out entirely. "The Glow" was the thing that was ruining Ramona and Scott from what I remember...Gideon created it and it was some sort of mind tampering thing that created false memories and other mental issues. 

Oh sweet! if I’m not wrong, the show was initially announced as more of an entirely-human-focused show with no appearances by Godzilla or any other Kaiju save for references and quick cameos (I’m sure due to budgetary reasons).

I mean, no hate at all and itd be fine if they expanded a bit on Stephen and Joseph sure, but like...I’m pretty sure there’s other more important stuff that got shafted in the books transition to film that deserves to be in the show.

Eh. I love the concept and I think itll be a fun experience to play. Personally, I don’t pay mind to the whole controversy and I just want to enjoy the product separately from the artist anyways (still, Rowling is an asshole).

Kuvshinov is a massively talented artist. Absolutely well known and has had many great gigs (most recently on the latest Ghost in the Shell). However, I've personally felt Kuvshinov's style unfortunately suffers from a same-face syndrome where the majority of designed characters look the exact same.
