I believe Sora himself is 50/50. Disney actually does own a lot of KH, if I recall. If it was just SquareEnix, it wouldn't have been THIS big of a deal that Sora got in.

Very true..but technically you CAN play as Mickey at one point in Kingdom Hearts II and even 358/2 but, like you said, it isn't against other good guys....just a bunch of enemy characters.

I find the inclusion of fighting based characters to be a bit boring. I can understand Ryu...as he is the literal face of the entire genre alongside being just as famous as Sonic, MegaMan and Mario. However, I can’t admit to still finding myself never using him.

It’s quite frustrating that some of the most requested fighters like Travis, Bomberman, Ashley and hell even Viridi were relegated to Mii costumes while more mundane picks made it as fighters.
