Headcanon: Mack and Elena are fans of Best of the Worst and Red Letter Media, which is how they know about Chopping Mall. I was hoping they'd go one further. "You want bad? Ever hear of 'ROTOR'?"

The art took a nosedive in the last issue of the original series, but Travel Foreman's been doing a pretty good job IMO on Squared. I hear you on the colors… it worked for Rocafort's art but Foreman needs a a different approach.
My advice: skip Civil War II and just read "Ultimates" instead. Al Ewing told a better story in ~5 issues than Bendis did in 8, actually understanding the character motivations and trying to make sense of some of the nonsensical plot turns. (And don't be discouraged by the title ending after the Civil War II…

Who needs death squads? Keep trolling him on Twitter and the diet of taco bowls will do the rest.
Garfunkel and Oates needs a third member… actually, make it for and they could be Garfunkel Oates Ridgeley and Messina.
Brought to you by…. theeeeeee Space Pope!
Sadly the sequel to the Frisco Kid that I always wanted became impossible…
Oh so Swamp Thing is going to be voiced by Jeffrey Tambor?
Christmas Vacation probably makes them self-conscious… they see a lot of themselves in Cousin Eddie and they really don't want to admit it.
I got the sense that they were recording the episode right after her birthday party and they didn't realize how hammered Anna was until it was too late.
I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints.
One thing Hollywood did specifically mess up was the casting. I'll actually forgive them for Zooey Deschanel, but Mos Def brought absolutely nothing to Ford Prefect and the role felt pointless as a result.
I especially liked them admitting that it's just their Gary Busey voice pitched up a little.
Each week I'm surprised that they can pack so much into an hour long episode. They really do feel longer in a good way.
Quick, someone get Paul F. Tompkins to bring back his HG Wells for a reading of this.
I think I remember more of the MadTV parody they did about Jesse Jackson's affair where he's singing to his wife. "I'm sorry Mrs. Jackson/I thought she was on the pill…"
Not to mention Donkey Lips from Salute Your Shorts.
A GoT joke or a Folgers coffee incestuous sibling commercial joke? It works both ways.
The new "Earmovie" on the Black List, Blood From A Stone, is really really good. It's an 80s action pastiche that both hits the cliches and understands why they're there. Plus it's got Paul Scheer voicing the ultimate 80s badass that never was, Sean Sharpstone.
