I believe it's because the 8GB of Flash storage the Xbox One has is where the OS is installed, to help with multitasking. Might be a weird hybrid 8GBFlash/500Gb HDD drive.

Any word on the max size of an external HDD for the Xbox One? Though not supported at launch, I'm planning on getting a 2TB USB 3.0 hard drive for Christmas, and was hoping to put movies/games on it for the One.

Yes, I know the story behind it, and I hope Verizon learns a lesson from it. Still though, I wish the Nexus 5 was on Verizon...not giving up the unlimited data

This isn't working on my iPhone..

Nope! Both enjoy their iPhones and getting online as much as anyone. Try again!

I'm running Mavericks or I would have tried this. I tried disabling it before (without connecting to Ethernet), but wifi still went back to staying limited. Oh well, they're on 7 now, happy, and best of all its working.

I completely agree. Just about every other OS they release is golden. Windows 98SE, XP, 7 have been fantastic for their time. 2000, Vista, and (I'm calling it already) 8 have been huge disappointments and steps back. Hopefully Windows 9 continues the trend.

Was looking for this a few days ago while visiting my parents and doing some tech support. Between this and the wifi connection constantly going to "Limited" (among many other Windows 8 annoyances), I asked if they just wanted Windows 7 and both parents were happy again.

Already have the Xbox One versions of Ghost and BF4 preordered $89 total. Thanks Newegg!

Just got Ghosts and BF4 for $97. No tax. No shipping. Thanks Newegg!

I talked to customer service chat and she said it did include China Rising. But then I called and two phone operators said they could not confirm but they'll get back to me by email. The Box art says its included, as well as other sites saying its a voucher inside the box, not a code. So take all that for what you

Remake Super Mario 64 Nintendo and I'll seriously consider picking up another one of your consoles.

Xbox Infinity should have been the name from the beginning

Also, testmy.net should really be the preferred speed checker. Its a test essentially long enough to wade out that "Power Boost" stats, and give a more accurate result :)

$30 for 30mbps here in Fort Worth, Texas with Charter. Usually get around 35mbps down, and 4.5mbps up. The upload could use some work (especially with some channel bonding) but overall I'm happy. Excited for the impending rumored free speed upgrade though!

I'm assuming in either case one of the two lines lose unlimited data then? Last time I upgrade I did the first option and somehow both kept unlimited data. I just assumed it was a fluke. Insurance I'm not too worried about since I'd rather do Apple Care or something similar anyway.

That speaks volumes itself. I guess theres no way for you to let me upgrade without losing unlimited then? :P

Verizon Max/Edge is the biggest waste of money Verizon has come up with. Besides, I have unlimited data on 3 phones, and am only paying $10 each for that. Anything I do my price will go up lol

I know :( I was hoping Verizon would do what (I think) ATT does and allow you to upgrade without losing your unlimited data in certain circumstances. Oh well

I have actually had this happen once! When the iPhone 5 came out, I ordered it on a line I was sure wouldn't need unlimited data, switched to the number I use, and both have kept Unlimited Data. I assumed it was a fluke in the system, and am afraid to risk it again.
