Another thing, this jailbreaking is done on 5.0.1 and not 5.0. They are still ironing out the bugs for 5.0 and that one will be released in a couple of days
According to the iPhone Dev Team blog (if I'm reading this right...) the exploit works for A5 devices, there just isn't a way to inject it into the device a la LimeRa1n by Geohot for A4 devices.
I know :(
It doesnt work with iPhone 4S and iPad 2..
It sounds like your a Grinch looking for something to complain about...

I got Free HD without autopay or the $99 fee from Dish Network after threatening to cancel and move to DirecTV. I found that if you have the facts (prices, availability, ect) they are much more willing to let you have what you want at the price you want. In my case, free.
Ive been calling it "A-Suse" all these years -_-
Im not worried about a backup. What Im saying is with Android I needed to clear cache and device reset before updating or changing Roms and to NOT restore from a backup. Is this the same with iOS?
Coming from an Android device, shouldn't, even with these Delta upgrades, I RESTORE the device instead of just updating to ensure all the bugs are supposedly kinked out? I just updated my iPad 2 rather than restored, because I haven't had much of a battery life issue on it (still 3 days strong) but Im actually…
I came from the Droid and although my battery doesn't last forever...I haven't been on 20% by 12PM (from 8 AM) like I was with it. So Im happy :)
Exactly my thoughts. After seeing the title, I thought MuscleNerd was just giving us that and had already got it done.
Im hoping apple finds a way to merge my (new, love this thing) iPhones phone number with my iPads iMessage email so when someone iMessages my phone number it shows up on my iPad too. Not everyone I know has my email address.
You know how cool it would be for her to say "Your welcome xxx" :)
If this is as good as Apple is actually making it out to be...
Siri is smart enough to understand my bad speech to text ;)
