The pink team traced the technical drawings from the silver team. That is illegal. Recreating or “reverse engineering” from photographs is not. They did the latter. So it’s not really complicated.

The WRX STI lists for the same price and is just .. so, much, better. If the Civic wasn’t so painfully ugly with all that plasticky angled nonsense, maybe I’d think about it for a second. I believe one of the reasons a lot of people don’t watch NASCAR is because of it’s racist fanbase. Shoot, maybe I’ll start watching now (and the rest of the world too). Look out F1!! ;)

Why not just get a FRS/BRZ? Lighter. Cheaper. Totally tunable. Aftermarket parts exist. Looks better. IDK.. seems like they already own this market so what’s the point of the car?

It actually depends on if it’s blowing on top or bottom of the wing. A top blow wing could cause a stall effect. Accelerated air under the wing is far better. You want the negative pressure under the wing for downforce. Accelerated air over the top (faster than the bottom) would do the opposite.

Wonder how the aerodynamics are effected over the rear wing. They look like they blow over the top. In F1 they always say the want the faster airflow to accelarate under the surface to generate negative pressure and more downforce.

I have a 2013 BRZ and bang through gears all day long and every one of your issues has never crossed my mind. Maybe your just doing it wrong.
