I don’t approve of using explosives on Confederate statues. Innocent people could be hurt or killed.

Don’t get me wrong. I approve of having a memorial, and I approve of beefing it up to resist vandalism. I just don’t think that merely beefing it up will succeed in deterring determined racists.

I have never liked the term “bucket list.” It just doesn’t resonate with me. I have no issue with the concept, just the expression.

It makes perfect sense. The engine makes 855 HP at full boost. However, 100 HP goes to the supercharger, so that leaves 755 HP at the crank. A few more HP goes to the alternator, air conditioner, etc. Then there are parasitic losses. So only a certain amount goes to the wheels.
