American car makers went busto because they couldn’t compete against foreign companies in America. Last time I checked, foreign automakers are also subject to American laws when they want to sell in America.

Don’t get me wrong, I like the new Volvo. But if she is looking for luxury first, and performance second, I think the Genesis delivers. And the new 2018 model will have a twin turbo engine and better handling. So it might not be a slouch in performance either.

As someone who recently bought both XC90 and S90 for his parents, I gotta say that the 4 cylinder has amazing pick up. It really does pull as hard as the V8s i’ve used in my life. But the interior is just so amazing. I think it’s the best interior under 100k.

This was, hands down, the best sedan Acura ever made. It looked great on day one and still looks good today. The TSX was excellent too, but not the quickest car. As an all around package the TL could haul four people comfortably yet still be a hoot when you wanted to get on it.
