I don’t quite understand the strong dislike for DRM. It just seems weird to me that games are this special thing that people seem to expect to be open and free and available to anyone and you can pay what you like for them (or not pay at all). I’m no expert by any means, but I’ll at least add that I bought and played through Inside while the DRM was active and didn’t notice any drops in performance. But I’m also primarily a console gamer so if performance dropped even a little I probably didn’t notice :P

I got it somewhat close to launch, but a number of friends had clocked a lot of hours already so I also felt behind at first. But I’ve LOVED the game ever since. I’m a console gamer recently playing PC games. The mouse makes a huge difference and feels so much better in FPS games, but my filthy console fingers simply don’t feel comfortable on a keyboard.

I wish they would’ve done what Bethesda did for Fallout 4 and wait to announce it only when it was a few months from release. Games get announced so early now which only adds to the disappointment from the inevitable delay.

I buy my physical games at the Fred Meyer grocery store :P I get strange looks when I tell someone that, but I’ve never been to a Freddy’s that ran out of copies, even if it’s a week after launch!
