Eh, I read people saying that about Inside Llewyn Davis so I don't pay that talk about the Coens' films much heed. Not to say that your take on it isn't valid, just that the specific complaints about this tend not to be things I think about or look for in their work.

Fare thee well, my honey.

Yes, friend, I've never even seen a single movie before but if this is gonna be my first I'll be pretty darn excited!

I keep reading these mixed reviews and wondering what exactly makes it not great. It sounds wonderful.

I saw Inside Llewyn Davis and thought, "Wow, that was great." I saw it a second time and thought, "Holy shit, this is fucking incredible." Then I saw it two more times.

I loved this film, as utterly bleak as it may be. There's a third-act sequence of such burning intensity - and backed with what I think was the best score I heard in 2015 - that I was gripping myself and shaking a bit in my seat.

It actually makes a lot of sense. Rogelio would totally be emotionally distraught at Judy's death.

If Adam Rodriguez were my thesis supervisor I would've already been on my knees in his office. Very angry at the show for having him tear his shirt off but framing everything out but the back of his shoulders.

Well given their significance in the episode, I'm curious what genders do the vowels have? I feel like at least one of them is non-binary (looking at you, 'o').

I mean, the show has been building neuroses, insecurity and weirdness into her character from the very first episode. But okay, sure, hon.

Ahahaha this is awesome, thank you for confirming (and for writing such a terrific episode).

Are Brandon Routh and Wentworth Miller gonna fuck?

It's Sitcom Duo 101 to take the 'straight' character and make them the ridiculous one for an episode. Cool your jets.

And instead they gave it to her nemesis Meryl again for a bad performance! (Although in reality that was Viola Davis' year.)

That Laura Linney joke legitimately made me scream it was so attuned to my personal sense of humour/love of actresses. Could've stood to be about another Laura (Dern) or poor, poor Glenn Close (SOMEONE GIVE GLENN CLOSE HER FUCKING LATE-CAREER OSCAR-WINNING ROLE ALREADY).

I need to know what four through ten are, though? (My guesses? Girl, boy, boy, boy, girl, girl, boy.)

DING
"Housekeeping."

Yeah, she has two more episodes credited on her IMDb page and the third is titled 'Un-Jaded' so I think there's a bit more to this character/story than meets the eye.

MVP: Vanessa Bayer's high school mean girl soldiering through ruthless beatings.

These athletes really seem to hobble the show.
