@Hotscot: Oliver Platt is tall (about 6'3"), but not gigantic tall. James McAvoy is just short, so in comparison it makes Oliver Platt look really tall.

Love these, so beautiful.

@Foohy: Except they weren't. In the recent years prior to Twilight there were some huge vampire films as well as television series. Bram Stroker's Dracula 1992, Interview with a Vampire 1994, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Angel, Kindred the Embraced, Dark Shadows, Forever Knight, The Blade films, and so on.

@Clutchman83: Not sure I'd associate any of the awesomeness of Supernatural with McG. That is all Erik Kripke & Sera Gamble.

@storymark: hmmm, that is a pretty cool concept.

@Foohy: except with Vampire's, they seem to be mostly immune to over-saturation.

He was in the 3rd series of the UK series Skins, was a decent young actor. I think he could be quite good in this roll.

I'm still having a problem with this version of Annie. Sally has seemed very off for me, and while watching it hit me. She's too pretty and too sexual for the character. Now, I'm not saying the British version isn't a beautiful woman, but there is something innocent and sincere about her whereas this version is

Is it just me or does this version of Cheetara look like a strung out hooker.

@Malcontent79: It is actually a pretty good slice of entertainment.

@Vexxarr: Ps. I love Firefly, but while it has a rabid fan base that base is quite small in the global market place.

@Vexxarr: Top Gun doesn't even compare to Avatar's world wide popularity. If only 50% of the people who saw the first one see a sequel it will be a huge success. Avatar love it or hate it has probably the largest world wide fan base of any film ever.

@Vexxarr: You're kidding right. Even if you didn't like the film there is no denying its popularity. Consider it made nearly $3 Billion world wide. I think that kind of money ensures there is enough support for several sequels.

@Clutchman83: I hope there are tons of twists and turns, because besides the strong characters that is the best thing about Fringe.

@Clutchman83: When Jassika made that comment I immediately thought great, Fauxlivia is pregnant. And then with all the Father comments this week (which I felt were directed at Walter, but had a more "cat's in the cradle feel" too.) I'm sticking by my original prediction of Fauxlivia is pregnant, Walternate will want

I found it very enjoyable, and probably best of all it made me want to tune in next week. That said I get what you are saying about "Sally", the whole time watching I was wishing the BBC actress was there instead.

My 2 cents. It's a fake.
