I've watched it and i swear there is a laugh track.
and, yeah, it's bad.

It really wasn't very good.
not a total shit show, just bland and predictable.
i guess the only thing keeping it from being a perfect one-hit wonder is that it was never a hit.
it's a great track.
what's your issue with it?
Was Watusi Rodeo even a hit? Did it chart?
exactly.
it's still that overly emotive affectation x1000 voice that causes sterilization in people with taste.
Quarterflash!
haven't thought about them in forever!
Talking In Your Sleep was bigger hit chart wise, actually.
it's not sitting well with my pedantic side that you think Tainted Love and Where Did Our Love go were two different Soft Cell songs.
Suddenly Last Summer by The Motels charted just as as high as Only The Lonely.
they also had hits with Take The L, Forever Mine, and Shame.
Maybe even a couple of other I can't remember right now.
The Vapors were probably more kick ass beyond their hit than both Soft Cell (though Cabaret is an excellent record start to finish) or Wall Of Voodoo (though Dark Continent is super fun).
Both Vapors' albums are fantastic and seriously under-appreciated.
One of my all time favorite bands.
The Cutting Crew had another top ten hit with "I've Been in Love Before".
yeah, I think it's better as well, but I think that entire album is great and not at all uneven.
they had two "hits" and the other one (Let The Day Begin) charted higher than The Walls Came Down.
and had anther top 20 hit in America.
wow.
I have something in common with her!
We both despise that song!
3 that i know of.
1: pre-hit. that first ep and record were far far from being commercial
2: hit record and tour
3: post Stan Ridgeway era with Andy Prieboy as singer.
but Walk The Moon isn't catchy enough to make up for the fact that they are terrible.
That whole album is pretty good.
And then the next one was terrible with one great song (Preacher's Daughter).
