my thoughts exactly. This is part of why I send my kid to daycare too (aside from the cost being better) - I’m glad for him to be cared for where the people are paid well, treated fairly, etc. I’m also glad not to be the boss lady.

no, it’s really not that simple, sorry. It would also be cheaper to hire unknowns and people don’t do that. Or not pay for super expensive CGI, prosthetics, etc to disguise people as disabled. It’s more about deep-seated stereotypes - including the idea that it’s amazing acting to pretend to be disabled, thus the idea…

I mean, Drake’s performance in DeGrassi really showed the need for stellar acting in a role like that... uh ... right?
