*Slow clap* That was some surgical use of Lewbowski there.

Weeeell, looks like we got ourselves a reader…
Aubrey Plaza in a nun's habit?
Californian here: Do you guys want a longer west coast? I'm pretty sure that we could talk Oregon and Washington into joining up with our cousins to the north.
A valiant effort, but the nuance is often lost on those such as above.
And yet, these people also say, "Banning guns won't change anything! People will find other ways to kill." Yeah, that's why soldiers all over the world are all running around with bricks and pocket knives.
Madness! Build an adequate social safety net?! Get out of here with your pinko talk, Comrade. Guns, FREEDOM, White Jesus, and the largess of the wealthy give us proles all we need.
I grew up around guns and developed a love of military history early on, but also grew up with parents that were the now extinct species of American known as "liberal Republicans" who wound up cutting ties with the party during the late Regan/early Bush 41 years. So I came up with a perspective that didn't really jibe…
I'm all for this. Given the state of things, if anyone should be packing, it's black people.
Okay, gloves off: I'm a gun owner who detests the NRA and have greatly distanced myself from "gun culture" over the years. This paranoid, black and white mentality is entirely why. They've blown "the left" up into some kind of pervasive Dark-Side-of-the-Force by overstating the aims of the left, broad brushing the…
Glad they worked for you! I've been trying to spread the word on IDLES and a few other U.K. bands. The scene there now is really good. There is a lot of hand wringing in the states about rock being dead and it's like, "Oh no, rock is alive and kicking. It's just not on the radio."
They are the lucky ones. ;-)
Also, because I had to: https://frinkiac.com/meme/S…
It's alright. I'm in my mid-30's and I have to work to stay current, and my definition of current is a slice of alternative and punk rock that isn't exactly huge in the U.S. these days, along with some attendant, harder hip-hop and a couple of pop acts like Janelle Monae and Lady Gaga (judge me all you want). There…
I've played through Humanz a few times now, including the bonus songs on the Deluxe edition ( I go big or not at all). So far I've found it to be decent, but not the instant classic that "Plastic Beach" or the first album were for me. "Demon Days" took a little while for me to really come around to and maybe Humanz…
I concur. The whole album is a blast.
Well, if you're old, then check out White Reaper. They sound like Cheap Trick!
Glad to see Algiers getting some notice. "The Underside of Power" is a terrific album. Also stoked to see White Reaper get a nod. They're putting out some of the best Cheap Trick songs not actually by Cheap Trick. My personal top choice of the year so far, though, is "Brutalism" by IDLES. It is some straight up, no…
Ditto. As a prog fan, all the Shire of Frodo stuff especially lands for me. And they've been pretty smart in making their references. That said, I think that early 1974 is too early to be making the disco reference they did with that pseudo-Harlem Globetrotters cartoon. Disco didn't really start to take off as a…
