I know of what you speak and I really, really hope that there's nothing to this. One, because if true, it's lame and two, if true, it feeds the entitled fans and their shipping.

You're smart to do so. I'm linked to several fan groups on Facebok, and some of the crap I see, even from admins, is disheartening. In short: Shippers are the fucking worst.

If I had more upvotes to give for that reference, I would give them.

First: So many great Pearl faces in this one. While not Pearl centered, this episode used her to full effect.

I was THIS close to using that face for my new profile pic.

"The Imploding Voice" was enough of a rocker to make the album work for me, but I'd always take one more.

"New" is one of, if not perhaps my favorite song of theirs too, and as it was originally released on the Go soundtrack, it fits neatly into their 90's discography.

While Infowars doesn't in-and-of itself fit neatly onto the political spectrum, its audience definitely has a right lean, albeit one that isn't "Traditional Conservative." For reference, we have one of Jones's own fans in this comment section throwing around terms like "cuck" and "libtard."

* You're

Just doing you a favor. Proper capitalization is your friend, also. If you want to be taken seriously, cogency is the watchword. Further, terms like "libtard" and "cuck" won't bring anyone over to your point of view.

The "brave people" would be more convincing if they used proper spelling, proper punctuation, and didn't use the word "cuck" as you did in your other post. Just a tip.

Both men live in Austin and Jones has appeared in at least two Linklater movies I know of. They are at least friendly acquaintances. I don't think Linklater has used Jones post Sandy Hook, though, nor is it clear how much Linklater actually believes of Jones's shtick. Much like Billy Corgan, the less I know about

Having had him on my radar for quite a while, I'm convinced that he believes what he says, at least in the broad strokes.

I'll never deny that "Rock Steady" came from a place of sincere appreciation of 80's pop. I think that was always Gwen's jam deep down. But I just couldn't hang with it. The best I can say for the album is that a mashup club I go to makes frequent, effective use of the beat from Hella Good.

I feel that Machina was a victim of the times. When it dropped in early 2000, alt-rock was passé and nu-metal was ascendant. It was the days of Limp Bizkit and Kid Rock and the Pumpkins just didn't fit. Also, a lot of fans got scared off by Adore. It's looked at as a classic now, but the general feeling at the time

I really liked "The Electric Lady" but I'm going to have problems if her next album is generally in the vein of that God awful Yoga single.

Machina is, for me, the sleeper of their whole discography. Sooooo underrated.

"Rock Steady" by No Doubt comes to mind. I was a ska-loving 90's alt-rock kid and No Doubt's first three albums were sunshine and strawberry jam for me. "Tragic Kingdom" was THE soundtrack for my sophomore year in high school. Me and my friends waited and waited for the follow up "Return to Saturn" (originally to be

She kicked out the jams and she liked it.
