I've long said that it's amazing that we treat heart health as fundamentally different from mental health. That is, if the heart has a failure, we treat it like a legitimate issue and tell people that they deserve the best care possible. If the brain has a failure, we tell people to "stop being crazy."

Mental health is just as important as physical health. I am tickled pink that the government is starting to believe in treating mental illness and requiring health providers to treat them equal to breaking your leg. Bravo!
