When was it decided that Star Trek wasn't allowed to be fun?

Finally it seems they are capturing the pulp adventure of the Classic series and everybody hates it.

"I was born yesterday" is an amazing bit of dialogue.

C'mon, it's ALL about the Bullet Farmer!

"Cars don't fly…
Dom… Dom
CARS DON'T FLY!"

Only if Rick and Morty enter the movies they are watching and attempt to "fix" then

Without it we wouldn't have my favorite Harmontown bit

I also do kinda agree with him when he's consistently baffled at the people who try to give him "advice" on Twitter or tell him to "stop", as if they are his friends in any capacity. Twitter opens a crap load of boundary issues for creative people and followers who want to be their friends or see themselves as equal.

I don't think he has ever been responsible for instigating a single conflict incident.

"I ate her!"

I don't get the idea that he's not ALLOWED to respond to articles that cruelly put down himself and his work. Writers standing up for themselves and their work may not come off as professional, but I'd never say the writer doesn't have "the right" to do it. Fuck you, they can do whatever they want.

I love it because it's so whimsically terrifying, and says everything about the 11th Doctor that is so fucked up.

I still think Moffat makes better finales than Davies, barring "Name of the Doctor", which is just nonsensical. They all have at least have SOME interesting elements that make them more than just "Invasion of [INSERT ALIEN]".

I just felt it defined 12 more than just "cold, pragmatic, aloof". Giving him a guitar and shades added much color to his character and made Capaldi seem more comfortable in the role. Honestly the 10th Doctor only felt defined once he was in his last season and in retrospect we see him as a very vain, too emotional

That's absolutely fair. Vulcans are a great comparison. I'd never call them evil, but there's a reason the Doctor doesn't…. belong…

Did NOT understand the hate for the sunglasses. They were AWESOME. The new screwdriver looks classy as hell, but c'mon the Doctor is still a punk space dad at heart.

Goddammit Moffat. Everytime I'm tired of you you do SOMETHING that makes me forgive your finicky and dwindling talents as showrunner.

In a way, this is Clara's "Caves of Androzani".

Clara.

Be creative. Make new ones. "War never changes" will only continue to work as a theme if Fallout does.
