Too ambitious, I suppose…
Too ambitious, I suppose…
….
What is wrong with me?…
Ah!
I need to rewatch season five apparently
Didn't he become a math teacher?
My God, they've figured out how to make Chang hilarious again:
By not trying. There is no attempt to ground Chang's presence in the slightest. He is hanging out at the school for seemingly no reason at all, except for the fact that he is a raving lunatic.
Yeah. I think even worldwide (?)
But I'm more referring to competent filmmaking. I imagine BvS will kill in the box office, but I ain't looking forward to seeing it.
So.
"Adapting" Dark Knight Returns imagery right out of the starting gate…
…
Warner Bros? DC?
You know Captain America?
A lesser known superhero only recently obtaining popular relevance?
His blockbuster is going to fuck yours.
I guess Community is now parodying parody bottle episodes. It even has no idea how to convincingly wrap itself up at the end with a big "Awww" moment. Community is a TV show. Nothing is real. These bastards are trapped in a post post post modern madhouse.
Keith David and Paget Brewster are soaring as newbies.
I can cope with cheesy late 90s visuals. I only recently beat System Shock 2 and I loved it. I'll try and get both on Steam.
Oh? Well I did not know that.
OK
The Deus Ex games are definitely on the list of "Games That I Can't Believe I Haven't Even Tried Given My Tastes In Narrative Driven Titles."
How is the first one compared to the sequel? Is it neccesary to play to the first in order to get the most out of HR?
Well I suppose there is something to be said in how Community has probably lost all of the ambition we saw present in Seasons 1-3. Much of Season 6 more or less feels like Season 5b. More Community, but nothing more than just that.
In my opinion, that's fine. I sometimes like Community to be kind of cozy and confident…
Nah. I think the additional running time has more perks than drawbacks. It gives the plot much more room to breathe and jokes can have better payoff. Last week's Karate Kid subplot wouldn't have worked otherwise.
I dunno. Besides the usual staleness that comes from a show being on for several years, I find this format…
Easily the warmest half hour of Community I have seen in a while. The way these stories play off eachother is so intelligent and seemingly effortless. Guys, I think Community might be kind of great again.
Well, maybe not at the same level of its height, but it certainly has found its way out of the self indulgent rut…
The crazed Austrailians.
The hunger for gas.
The classical music.
Chang was funny. Really funny, actually. Some good use of Chang thus far.
Plus the "texting misunderstanding" seemed like it would grow old quick, but escalates wonderfully. I didn't see THAT sort of pay-off at all.
I hope this isn't all we get for Britta's parents. The conflict almost seems intentionally left unresolved. "Advanced Advanced Dungeons and Dragons" gave us a better conclusion to a character who only appeared in one season.
And now I have seen "Lawnmower Maintenance and Postnatal Care". Not as strong or as profound as "Ladders", but a solid half hour of Community.
I just thought it was sung by a dude
This is abhorrence. Pure abhorrence.
The horror… The… horror…
