I do like the "Like Home" track for that very reason. Music that sounds innocuous enough, but peel back the layers and you reveal… something very, very wrong.

Speaking of soundtracks, I know this one wasn't the GREATEST of 2014 or anything, but I think I should at least draw attention to how much I loved Giacchino's classy as hell Dawn of the Planet of the Apes score.

hmm. Okay. I never did really give it a chance with headphones. And I never listened all the way through. I would agree it greatly compliments the film.

Oh, yeah. Honestly I liked this one a bit better than Listen. And I sort of look at that one as an anomaly, not particularly indicative of Moffat's general writing trend. That was a slice of perfection. Easily the best Moffat script in a long time.
There is so much to digest, but to put it simply… It seems all Doctor Who ever had to do in order to appease me was pay homage simultaneously to Alien and The Thing.
