Just as I was thinking, "Didn't they just do a time travel ep?" Jake provides a brief, but basic synopsis of Betty.
I was curious about the background, and didn't notice much about it until the very end. Very nice payoff. Just weird, bizarre, and altogether rather brilliant. I guess.

It's interesting how the likes of Mixology Certification, Critical Film Studies, Virtual Systems Analysis, and this episode are particularly difficult to judge, because these are dramatic, emotional episodes in a half hour sitcom.

Duncan beating on his steering wheel got the biggest laugh for me.
He's being a good person, and he sure isn't happy about it.
Great episode, probably my favorite so far. Definitely A

I'm generally happy to see all of these films nominated this year, but it still confounds me how opposed the acadamy is to good comedies. The World's End is something that certainly deserved some recognition, but it would never ever have a chance simply because of it's given identity.

I never watch Glee, but have to ask:
Does anybody else go to this school? How can three core characters on the show coincidentally get the top three highest grades in their class?

I'd rather have compressed and fast paced than a needlessly drawn out multiple episode arc. This IS still a kids show.
But regardless, I was genuinely concerned by the episodes end that they killed off Betty, and Ice King would never know what Betty did for him. Well, it's still sad as hell that he can't remember

See you on the other side, Harold.
Thanks for essentially perfecting the high concept comedy.

Love how the new characters from the comic look and act as if they were ripped straight from a comic.
I like their characters from the source material, so I am happy with them appearing here, but I was a bit concerned when I saw them "posing" at the end of last week's ep. I hate it when TV characters do that.

Hmmm. Really hated both of these outings. Fear Her was just bland and forgettable, while also being illogical in the most ungodly manner, and Love & Monsters was an episode I thought HAD POTENTIAL. And this is what annoys me the most about it.
An episode featuring obsessive "Whovians" trying to find purpose and

Do NOT have BioShock 1 spoiled for you. I managed to play that game two years ago from a fresh, unspoiled perspective, and the twist is not something you want to be ruined of.
Infinite… I would say the same. But to a lesser extent. Although both are just phenomenal experiences.

Yes. That is a valid option I have also considered and am also looking into with decent enthusiasm. Or as much I can muster.
But having a dependable job is nice. Well, of COURSE it is. It's ideal. It's… something I am sure any person wants.
I mean… how else will I find spare money to waste on gaming? Or find spare time

I have made this point many many many times, but I guess I will again explain how the alternate reality business is supposed to tie together the overarching theme of the entire game. Without going all spoily woilry, the infinite universe concept is meant to tie Infinite back to the first BioShock and to also draw

Well, in response to both comments (Dik and Schlock), I say that I am still optimistic and persistently hopeful. I'm just at that crossroad with about a million number of options in front of me, and frankly I am kinda scared of choosing the wrong path.
All I know is that with me recently starting to learn the basics of

From the perspective of one with next to zero professional career experience "overworked, underpaid, and hav(ing) zero job security" appears to be a dead end I keep running into.
That's bleak and disappointing, but I guess its the most honest and straightforward response I could possibly get anywhere.
Thank you
…I guess?

Hope the cut staff members find new positions elsewhere.
But even if Irrational wasn't being dissolved, its not as if they were creating anything outside of the latest DLC. If Levine is done with BioShock, then there really isn't much of a point keeping the developers on the team. If 2K can find something to continue

Granted, I don't keep up with modern FOP all that much, so I could just as well be blowing air outta me bum. If you find some stuff that's worth watching, then good for you.
I was simply horrified by the live action specials.

Yeesh. Even though Spongebob has seen a marginal dip in quality over the years, it can barely hold a candle to how mediocre Fairly OddParents has become. I still see a funny new Spongebob ep here and there, but FOP REALLY needs to end itself. Soon. Before another live action abomination is released upon the world.
FOP

Don't forget when Squidward went so far into the future he finally got want he wanted. Peace and quiet, with a touch of absolute nothingness.
And how Spongebob became a reclusive homebody only driven out by a chance gorilla encounter. It ain't all sunny and shiny.

I always kind of thought that this show was a bit like a more grounded version of Adventure Time. There isn't as heavy an emphasis on character arcs or world building for SpongBob, but both shows have other ability to chain together multiple beats of bizarre, off the wall humor while still having to follow a narrative.
