This pisses me off so much. I can’t stand those that rail at federal standards of education (yes libertarians I’m looking at you too). A child does not decide where in the country to be born. They do deserve the same degree and standard of education based on up to date facts.

I was glad Pope Francis was chosen after Benedict, and he has been a world leader in talking about income inequality, climate change, etc. However, he lost my respect when he still pushes anti-birth control messages. It just shows, as this article also points out, the Church is not changing with the times.

Abbott, Patrick, and Paxton are the worst. Paxton is now filing suit against a law enacted by the Austin city council requiring companies to provide paid sick leave for their employees.
