We are not bickering yet, but with a 2.5 year old I get it. Someone always has to be entertaining the kid, and when we both work it is hard to get anything meaningful done. I would love this if I was at my old job that I hated going to. But I actually love my job now and being at home not being productive with a

If my sister reads this she’ll figure me out.

I really liked this movie as a kid. There are so many movies from the 90s that are just like this. Quiet, unassuming, but tell a good story. I’m planning on sharing them with my kid when he gets a bit older.

I don’t post pics of my family, but here is one half of my kid’s nursery I walked into one day. It gets cleaned...once a week? That being said, this is the worst. But so silly to think a kid will keep it clean, especially a two year old.

agree. And maybe that’s why mansfield park doesn’t work for me- it is beautiful and you can tell the creators love Jane Austen, but Fanny is not Austen.

Just wanted to say to Garrett that I have enjoyed having you at Jezebel and your weekend blogs. They are fun and not too snarky like some of the other posts.

There are just so many scenes that are adorable and funny. Her waiting for the mail for an invitation, saying she loves John and hates John, etc.

I mean, it is infinitely better than the Kiera Knightly Pride and Prejudice.

Obviously your comment was to Jezebel, not Garrett specifically. I’ve enjoyed Garrett’s pieces so far. The others who ranted about Miss Americana on the other hand.... why review something if you hate the singer so much?

Agree. I’ve never been a huge Taylor fan. I enjoy her top 40 hits after hearing them a few times. But I liked Miss Americana and through that got hooked on 1989. The Jez writers that reviewed Miss Americana were so snarky it was terrible. I don’t think Garrett was one of them. I overall have been enjoying his pieces

Had the same thought- nice to offer help but hasn’t all the news been about how you need N95 masks and they don’t even work that well because they are not worn properly? So how about breathing through a very breathable fabric?

I’ve only seen the Paltrow 1996 version and the 2009 BBC version, but I cannot help but think the Paltrow 1996 is by far the best in every way. I think the character of Knightley will always be creepy due to the age factor, but it doesn’t seem creepy to me in that rendition. As much as we hate on Goop and Paltrow now,

I don’t enjoy that version of Mansfield but he is a delight in it.

Just the thing for self quarantine.

Yep. Have done some dumb stuff as a new mom that didn’t make sense. But didn’t post photo proof.

Perhaps I shall try stinky and dirty. My kid loves Tayo the bus on netflix which is not the worst, but is still pretty annoying. Luckily if I’m fast enough I can distract him with Magic Schoolbus or Pooh.

Same. My folks are here and my mom keeps saying that biden isnt that bad. With the Hunter baggage (doesn’t matter if it is real), the gaffes, overall age/comprehension during debates, and lack of enthusiasm from voters, we will have 4 more years of Trump. I thought Bernie had a chance, but not after tonight. Biden

I would argue that Kim’s pink jacket is not obvious to me- the more looser fit seems to go against the cat suit. But yes, Geoffrey’s was a lot better than this.

Agree. Would I ever wear this? Hell no. They are pretty hideous. But it is fashion week and they are taking some fashion risks. Kourtney actually looks semi-okay. But the weird brown on Kim is horrible. The pink one is still strange, but it is kinda interesting. If someone else had been wearing this (Cardi B?), I’m

She rocked it last night. This was what I wanted a while ago. The last few debates I have been disappointed that she didn’t jump in more and take control. Finally! She’s getting a ton of good press unlike the last one that no one talked about her. Even Chris Matthews (who I can’t stand) came out and said that she won
