Jezebel definitely has better articles and commenters. I used Splinter to get all the small politics stories that Jez didn’t focus on. Just wanted to shout it out again that I love reading Jez comments- they are often funny, cynical, compassionate, etc etc etc. 

Agree that the commenters on Splinter were not the best. But I’m surprised they have less traffic since it is politics driven?

Haha yeah. It really stood out to me when she was reading him a book once- it was such a toddler book that I read to my much younger kid. Seemed so odd. 

Just saw it- it was definitely a bit of silly fluff, but if you liked the show it is at least enjoyable. Although most of the plot is so silly (uhh...the servants would risk getting in trouble and ruining the family’s reputation like that?) or underdeveloped (assassination attempt was blown off like no big deal...).…

I love SVU but the newer seasons are so bad. My husband doesn’t understand why I watch it because it seems so depressing to talk about rape/murder/abuse all the time. Agreed. I’ve never been a huge Amanda fan- she usually takes the opposite argument that I have. And while I love Olivia, I’m over all the drama with her and Noah. They can’t always be in danger! And why is she running around all the time? She’s supposed to be managing.

Totally agree. I cannot watch JT- I saw Friends with Benefits but didn't like it. I like No Strings Attached because I think the characters actually have chemistry and even though I normally would not like Ashton Kutcher, I like him here. Same as that other movie with Amanda Peat.

I don't really get your last comment, but I would much rather have 5 or so single topic debates that are shorter compared to long no topic. We have a ton of debates scheduled but they will all sound relatively the same because the candidates only have time for one or two minutes stump speech on each topic.

I liked Kristen at the first two debates. In sad that the first few to drop are her and inslee. Along with Castro they are the few who obviously aren’t going to win but I like their input.

Drying does not help bananas! Agree! However, I have found plantain chips which once you get over the banana idea and think of it more savory then it is fine. Not sure if it is any healthier than a potato chip- still a bunch of starch deep fried. But sure...

I love muesli. For those who don’t want to total nonsugar cereal, I add it to small amounts of other sweeter cereal (Great grains, for instance), so you can have just one or less serving of the sweet stuff, but is more filling.
