You're not alone. Hearted.
You're not alone. Hearted.
Can we talk about how it's a bunch of men on TV who are sitting around, tittering about gossip instead of actual news? Kind of refreshing, though detestable, to be speculating about someone else's bedroom?
VERY excited to see this as an app. I've carried a little Seafood Watch card in my wallet for years!
She's a wee little man?
We've got a broken temperature knob in the car, and I eyeball that every time I get in, knowing that it's just a few short steps from an unfixed knob to hooptyville.
This is exactly what ever toddler birthday party we've been to in the past couple of years looks like. Mass chaos, someone dancing while one adult tries to talk to another about important issues, at least one being adorable and charming, and one or more crying/on the verge of tears. I can't imagine everyday life being…
Hearted for "personal redneck third rail"! Also, my husband lived in a trailer for a while when he was an infant. Even worse, the trailer caught fire and nearly all of their belongings were destroyed. He's a fancy academic now, but he's quick to mention that he comes from "Mississippi hill people." You don't have to…
I'm from small-town Georgia, and have spent time catchin' and guttin' fish, add extra syllables to words, and know where "yonder" is, but my family didn't move back to my hometown until I was 6 years old. We had been living in various states as all of us were born - we last were in Minnesota for several years for…
Hail defender of the faith of the Waffle House! Hail!
Ha! I had that problem at the very beginning, but after being back at work for about 6 months, my supply was much lower and I was popping fenugreek like crazy. Anything to keep from buying the super expensive non-dairy formula to supplement! Everyone in my office thought they were coming into an IHOP when they passed…
Then there's the scent you emit if you take fenugreek to help with your milk supply. At least it's a nice one - maple syrup!
My parents were pretty good about presenting a united front on permissiveness/strictness, and I appreciate that, and Mr. Biobreak and I are trying to do that with Lil'Biobreak, too.
Testudo does not care for your ground control.
Endurance activities run on fat, but they need carbohydrates to keep the fire burning. Ready carbs, like those in your bloodstream, can fuel that fire so you don't have to dip into the glycogen stored in your muscles. When you run out of active carbs and glycogen, that's the BONK of hitting the wall, typically about 4…
Yay! I took the youngster to see Cars 2 yesterday and was definitely disappointed. It's half James Bond, half The Mater Show.
I have two friends who had similar problems during their pregnancies, but both were able to make the right decisions for them and to get the care that they needed. One was in Georgia and the other in Florida. I doubt that a couple of years either would have been able to freely make the same heartwrenching, but right,…
That is badass! WANT.
I had run 3 marathons before I got pregnant, but thought I'd get pregnant while training for marathon #3, and then just drop out of my training program. Nope! It was about 3-4 weeks after the marathon that I got pregnant and it probably had something to do with the lower mileage and lower stress that I had at that…
I was able to run until about 6 months along, when I started getting Braxton-Hicks contractions and needed to stop. But it was ok until then, though slower and less distance. It helps in recovery from giving birth (or an unplanned c-section, in my case) to stay strong and active while you're pregnant.
Wow - thanks! Yes, definitely in the south. I don't know that I could write a book worth reading, but it's a cool thought.
