@msmoneypenny: Hearted! I drove through Bucksnort every time I went from home to college and vice versa. Still better than Toad Suck, AR.

@lboogienator: When I go get my hair did here in DC, I always have to ask the salon to poof it up a bit. As a Georgia girl, I just don't feel right if my hair isn't a little big.

Big kudos to www.mongabay.org for getting this info out in the first place. I really hope she sinks some major cash into rhino conservation after this.

Thank you so much for taking down this crapola. I read it the other day and was just purple.

During some time in the bush in Tanzania, one of the local I spent a lot of time with had a can of something called "DOOM" - seriously, in all-caps - that he would spray directly ON the biting flies and mosquitoes. I've never inhaled such toxicity in my life, and it didn't help that much.

I have a magic garment. And I think of it as my "running-into-an-old-boyfriend dress." I feel so confident in it that I'd be happy to run into an old boyfriend just so they could see how awesome I (still) am. Never have run into one while wearing it, though.

@AllieCaulfield: Bless you for the Elvis connection on this one!

@DaveyNC: Whoo Interstate! Happy to report that my infant son was delighted to taste his first BBQ in Memphis, where they make it as God intended.

I just posted a bunch of pictures from this weekend's beach visit on Facebook and Flickr, and only paused momentarily before posting a few pictures of me in a bathing suit. I am not tiny but I'm strong and I'm not ashamed. However, I *am* creeped out that the pictures with the most views on Flickr are the ones of me

Would not have survived a year of pumping at work without it! The ring sling got me through the first 4 months, and this got me through the next 8 months. And I only got walked in on once while pumping - by the Executive VP of my organization, too. He was suitably embarrassed and apologetic, thankfully.

@wandergrrl: Hugs. I totally remember being freaked out and unsure if we'd ever get pregnant (or if it was even the right thing to do).

Shut UP!

@athenasadidas: I know that I'm a grown up because the only pairing out of those 3 couples that did it for me was the adults!

@Ipomoea: Totally. We own this one, but haven't watched it for a while. Will need to soon! Thanks for the love y'all!

Now playing

Should we set Rosie on em? It's old but I so love this clip.

@SarahMC: Dude, I've never had them before but WOW I'm miserable these days! Can I blame the damn Bradford pear trees instead? They're ugly and they STINK.

Anna, here is your t-shirt: WWJJD?

@SomeAuthorGirl: Same here! I'm still not sure if I'm doing it right, and I'm not really going for "the dramatic eye" or anything.

I really love traveling alone and only occasionally get to do it these days. Sure, there can be some times when you feel uncertain, but you never know what interesting people you might meet and where you adventures might take you.
