Word.

At 7 months I'm not having problems with the body changes mostly because I've been lucky thus far and stayed small; what's killing me is how my friends are treating me differently. I'm the first one to have a kid and at 27 I wouldn't say I'm super young to be having a baby but they talk as though I'm 17 years old and

Ef. I'm supposed to have my baby at a Swedish hospital in May. Printing this out and making my doctor explain at my next appt. Thanks.

My rule was be good during first trimester (which I had to anyway cos I felt so sick) and then after that, moderation. It works, I don't stress, and I have world's most active fetus. She has nightly dance parties where everyone is invited. Now if there was just a fast forward button, I'd be so happy. 13 more weeks

27 weeks over here. I didn't drink in my first trimester (except for a taste of wine at Thanksgiving) because it seriously made me feel sick. Like everything at that point. I'm almost done with 2nd trimester and have a glass of wine on occasion. It actually helps me relax as my work has been stressful. What REALLY

Lucky! Have a blast. The people there are super nice despite what everyone says... just try to speak French to them first and then they take pity and respond in English lol. I took a trip like that to England a few years ago after my dad died and it helped me get over really bad anxiety and showed me (after declining

I'm about 7 months and it's been between 30-45 degrees F and I get pretty warm easily. I do a lot of walking so that could be it. But basically I've been wearing my regular Northface rain trench with either arm warmers or a light sweater underneath. I'm just starting to pop though so it's a little tight in the belly

I feel your pain. I've had the uncaring nurse practitioner pap smear. No thank you.

These don't hurt...but they are mighty uncomfortable. I can't imagine being FORCED to have one. I had a transvaginal ultrasound as part of my first pre-natal checkup and it's basically a penis sized stick that they stick a condom on and push up your vag, which is already sensitive from all the new raging hormones. I

Totally don't worry about the migraine thing. It's not super terrible. Before I got pregnant I was taking 400mg daily of riboflavin (vitamin B2) and that pretty much eradicated the problem. Still got them but no where near as frequently. When I got pregnant I was told to stop taking that just because that's a very

"It says you should just trust your own instincts about what's best for you and your baby, that in the end you know best." That is seriously a good mantra, thank you for that, very helpful.

Word. I love the vitamin alternatives. I was taking 400mg of riboflavin pre-pregnancy and it was amazing. I'll check out the Migrelief, haven't heard of that brand. Thank you :)

Thank you good sir :) Not sure what you do for your migraines, but just fyi in case you or your doc haven't heard about it... vitamin B2 aka riboflavin at a 400mg dose pretty much eradicates them. I went from 1-2 migraines a week to 2 in 3 months pre-pregnancy. Definitely something to try if you haven't already.

A freaking men. I get the "you're too small so obviously your baby will be low birth weight because you don't eat" which irritates me. It's because I'm tall - she measures fine people just really have no idea what they're talking about and don't get how their words can be anxiety inducing. I tried to read What to

See that's my thing. Moderation. That is the key to everything. My doctor said similar - if I ever have a really bad problem that they can give me a more "hard core" medication. So far I've been lucky enough that having a coke and/or a tylenol has been enough (netti pot helps too because I have sinus issues) but I'm

Yeah, their "expert recommendation" is to just use cold/hot compresses (which I do normally, duh) and lay down. That's fine on days where I can manage to, but I also have stuff to do in real life. Not to mention for me, if I don't move around a lot or get enough fresh air, just leads to more migraines.

Thank you so much for the book suggestions! Those sound more up my alley. And thank you also for your comment because...pregnant ladies are not baby life support machines!!!

Awww! You know I've found I look way more pregnant in maternity clothes than my regular clothes. I usually wear long loose fitting shirts or dresses with tights so that's covered it pretty well without having to buy too much new stuff. I did buy a cute maternity dress from Asos for my baby shower next month because I

I really hope so! My doctor said that she thinks they'll either go away or lessen tremendously just from having the baby. Before pregnancy I was taking 400mg daily of vitamin B2 (riboflavin) and it was seriously a miracle. I went from having 1-2 migraines a week to 2 over the course of 3 months. I can't take it right

You know what?? I thought my family would be crazy with the advice and be over involved but they've actually been really chill. They help when they're needed and are pretty zen in their advice, probably because they know I'm anxious. My friends have been the weird ones through this, but I think its because they're
