For three minutes, the film takes a pause and just admires these oiled-up bodies, letting them flex and slap and grunt and shine. If you saw Top Gun at any kind of formative age, this scene is seared into your memory.

Conan is so good at making something out of nothing.  His charm and humor just make it entertaining.  Sometimes the best part of his podcast are just him screwing around with the people who work with him on it.

I thought the Social Network was a perfect marriage of director and writer, in the sense that neither the writer nor the director has a sense of humor, an ability to modulate their style, or any sense of narrative urgency beyond men yelling.

I’ve been a fan of Tony’s since my early teens, so I’ll definitely check this out. Buuuuut I also kinda need to add that the Skate games from EA are better than any of the THPS series, especially Skate 3. The Tony Hawk games are like skateboarding in the circus. Looking forward to Skate XL this summer, too.
