The same thing applies to 2FA: which is more likely for you, that someone breaks into your residence and steals 2FA seeds that you’ve physically written down, or that your phone becomes lost or inoperative?

The fact that Authy can sync 2FA codes across devices fundamentally subverts the point of 2FA.

401k plans are basically sponsored by the company that employs you. You can’t contribute to them directly as an individual, and each 401k is tied directly to the company that paid into it on your behalf.

Another suggestion: a lot of the time, utilities bills online will let you pay with a credit card, and you can pay a specific amount.

I don’t think the point is to eliminate everything but the “best” shots. Some shots have meaning even if they aren’t beautiful.

They are not storing the data in the blockchain. They’re just storing the metadata in the blockchain. The data itself is stored in standard blob storage providers. You can look up information about Blockstack and the Gaia storage network it uses for more details.

I love how some of the tech articles on blockchain storage just gloss over this. “Data is stored in... uh... the cloud.”
