PSA: it's not a backup if your data only exists in one place.
I have to say, putting that Electro_cat response in there is a rude, jarring shock compared to the rest of the items and it does not belong in the article.
Our 401(k) is reasonable. They contribute 3% even if you don't actually contribute anything yourself. After that, they will match 50% up to another 6% (i.e. another 3% of your salary).
Same. I get sad when I get caught up on Radiolab.
Most people don't have "four or five" high value accounts. They have many high value accounts, even if they don't realize it.
Jesus Christ. Please read for comprehension. I specifically said that there are very few players in the ISP market, which enables collusion, and that's why this situation has arisen. If the ISP market were competitive - like, say, the retail food market - we would not be here.
Huh? What does this have to do with anything?
Well first off, Netflix offers two mitigations for this. They have a colocation server that will provide the traffic local to Verizon's network (i.e. they have "dropped off" the chips), and second - peering isn't exactly like driving to pick up an item. It's more like meeting halfway.
I realize that Frito Lay pays for certain displays and what have you. You're nitpicking something that's not relevant, though - the point is the manufacturer provides a product and the customer demands a product, it's up to the distributors/retail locations to put those two together, not to make specific demands on…
Every time this peering issue comes up, the ISPs point fingers at how "big" Netflix is. How much traffic they generate.
Don't care.
I can't agree with this enough.
Android Wear, specifically, isn't enough to get me interested.
Sure, I agree with that completely. Not every issue will be settled in one conversation... but virtually no issue will be settled without at least one conversation.
The response to the question could basically be boiled down to this line:
Recommendation: don't make your primary email account rely on a password-manager driven password.
This is just begging for a drone-mounted camera.
My incredible body teaches anatomy to college girls. Different market, I suppose.
Enjoy the city, it's just amazing. I highly recommend going to the city market. A bunch of stuff on Trip Advisor suggested that the market felt unsafe but we didn't feel like that at all - it was clean, well lit, police all over the place, and everyone very friendly.
