Fuck. That photo confirms this season is going to be Herschel's boat. Those writers are the most dense I've ever come across. Clearly they learned NOTHING from all the rants against their show.

And the production values work in its favour. i'm thinking of the opening storm off out of the donut shop and how thrilling that felt: it was 'like here we go'. Also the car wash: holy christ that was the most beautifully filmed bj ever.
Torrenting it right now :).
You know what….I had a brain fart and confused Cuaron with Inarritu. I actually don't have any problems with Cuaron's films. Thanks for the suggestion, though. I always appreciate suggestions to cure dislike :).
did you even watch it or did you just come here to disparage trans issues? this film captures a segment of society i know personally so vividly I had flashbacks the entire time.
her entire performance in that chair was hilarious. and i don't often laugh out loud at sitcoms. made me miss her all the more.
Plus all it does is make all of the people that they date obviously seem like poor suckers who don't know the GREAT ROMANCE FOR THE AGES that is bubbling underneath the surface of the Loft and how they are DOOMED, I said DOOMED the moment they kiss one of the roommates to be only a minor, guest character. Seriously,…
Well, its not worth it just for seeing Coupe in her bit role. But I just think is a superior actor to Wayans anyways.
I didn't say it was a grievous error, I just said it was cliche. I'm disappointed in the focus, that's all. And I think they could have had a really great sitcom focusing on just friends. The only parts I laughed at tonight were jokes built on cast dynamic friendships, like Jess introducing the bollywood dance in a…
Carrie Fisher only has a bit role in this season so far. Basically she's Lisa Edelstein's editor's boss or some other such position. Not going to get much Fisher Fill here. But in general the show is totally worth it.
I'm always busting a nut on my tiny little paws. Which is a really bad idea because I have to lick my cute little fur forever. And if I take a cat nap and it dries, man, it hurts.
yes! my point exactly.
Coupe played an FBI agent on Quantico that wasn't anywhere similar.
These are not multiple episode arcs where the actress took over the titular role. Not an apt comparison. And that performance of Britney was still one note on Jane The Virgin.
oh. that's what you mean by straight man. i was like 'um, megan fox doesn't have even the least bit of man-ishness.
true. but all eyes will be on her since she's tentatively stepping into the title role and not as a sidebit. extra pressure. basically megan fox seems like a nice enough woman but her acting is incredibly hamfisted, wooden or some combo inbetween. she's one of hollywood's worst actresses which is why it's so odd for…
like she's the subletter who randomly shows up in the bathroom or has c-plots?
lol. i don't know how to read this comment.
it didn't used to be. it's just that they neglected it for so long comparative to the romantic arcs of an endless parade of interesting yet ultimately inconsequential side pieces (here's looking at you Asian Jess). that's why i never liked the romance to begin with. it ultimately fractured what is the real heart of…
Because the romantic angle has been done to death. Like, everywhere. I really enjoyed the show when it had adults in their 30s with their shit not together bonding as people. I don't see why any of the characters really had to 'get together' except TV writers convention. And I think the show has been considerably…
