D&D made a shit sandwich out of season 8.

I can’t tell if you’re being edgy or just had literally no investment in the characters for the first seven seasons.

Reverse trolling is an art unto itself. I expect a steadfast defense of these six episodes for many many comments until you tire of this exercise or the other folks do.

your saying “these mistakes didn’t affect the final product”, but the emmy nod was for the writing, not the final product. Having a shitty script that gets turned into a good episode of television (which to be clear, this episode sucked in my opinion) should not qualify that script for an emmy.

You do realize that the time/episode constraints were self-imposed, right?  Martin wanted to keep it going.  HBO wanted to keep it going.  D&D said no.

Wow, this kind of snuck up on me.  Time to reactivate my HBO Now subscription, I suppose.  I should probably re-watch the first season, too.  I find myself forgetting half the plot points after so long.
