BMW and Audi use the same logic, Audi is just shifted slightly higher

Before I respond to the rant: I, too, am a BMW fanboy. While I haven't yet made my pilgrimmage to the Welt, I've done the driving school and drive a BMW (E46 325i).

The N54 cars had awful problems with the high pressure fuel pump - an issue totally unrelated to power output.

And I would remind those longing for NA M-Cars that the S62 drink oil like it's going out of style, and S54's had major teething issues with crank bearings.

Z4M Coupe would like to debate that whole long nose = understeering GT thing

You think Caddy will go with the 3.6 biturbo? I hope not. I'd much rather see them just drop the new LT1 in it.

I'm really interested to see what the IS-F and ATS-V look like. They're both exciting; the new IS and the ATS are both darn good sedans.

Though at this point I'm pretty sure I'll prefer the M3. To me, the major failings of the F30 seems to be steering feel and chassis composure. Assuming the chassis is at least as well

Okay, I love love love old school M engines. But I don't stand the current wave of what is, in my humble opinion, snobbery about the "bespoke" M motors. The ONLY from-scratch engine design that I can think of in an M was the S85 V10 in the E6x M5/M6.
For example:
S65 - S85 less two cylinders

Seriously, that shouldn't have slipped through.

Warning: Rant incoming.

*hugs 325i* He didn't mean it...

Last I checked, Grand-Am mandated catalyst removal, so not at all.

This is not a hobby car. This is not a track day car. This is a racing car. Apparently, that's not getting through to you.

I hate to be pedantic here, but that's an E30. Which isn't the first gen. It's the second in name and third in spirit (1602/2002 -> E21 -> E30).

Actually, I think the V12 E31's (850i, 850Ci, 850CSi) were available with 6-speed manuals. The V8 cars only got manuals in Europe, IIRC. But really, who wants a 840?

"9to5Mac's sources claim the MacBook Airs aren't receiving a Sandy Bridge update, instead bulking up with Core i5 and i7 processors. "

That looks awesome, and I want one, but I can help but feel that those containers would also work as an enormous faraday cage - say goodbye to any cellular signals.

I want to turn this up and loop it for the rest of the night... and every other night. For the rest of my life.

@PrairieMoon: It's an Apple keyboard, which is very similar to the one built into the MacBook Pro. If you have to switch between a desktop and a laptop, having similar keyboards can make the transition much, much easier. (I do the same thing, ThinkPad-style.)

@Streets_Ahead: I thought both the G2 and the MyTouch 4G supported HSPA+?
