It’s not supposed to compete with any of those, though. It’s intended to compete with the luxury performance sedan market. At first glance, it’s attractively priced compared to a 4 series Gran Coupe ($43k starting for a turbo 4-cylinder). Can’t really make comparisons until you configure them with similar equipment.

This game franchise has been out for 14 years and they just now got around to noticing and suing?! Something doesn’t smell right here.

A human would have honked at the truck.

I completely agree with you. Ultimately I think Liberty also sees Ferrari’s overall presence in the sport as a good thin (which it is), and I think they will compromise with Ferrari. Ferrari is right about powertrain distinctions, for sure.

It may sound cliché but F1 would lose a ton of its appeal without Ferrari.

Dear Jalopnik: Hire this eagle-eyed sleuth.

Same truck:

Other items that stick out to me, and possibly lead me to believe it to be at the very least an electric truck (if not a Tesla).

The driver pulled off pretty quick, that sticks out in my mind.

I honestly believe that for every “non-car person” out there, there is a car that can make them understand.....

“So fast! Much driving skill!”

Good, that means they can drop that stupid and painful “Celebrity Brain Crash” bit that just highlights how none of them should become actors.

I could tell you that this song doesn’t pop into my head every time someone even whispers “Saudi Arabia”. I could tell you that.

It’s even worse in some other applications. My ‘12 Nismo 370Z has three blanks right dead center in the console staring me in the face. This was the top-of-the-line model. 42 fucking grand and I get switch blanks. Reprehensible.

I just rented a car with touch HVAC and radio controls. I can’t describe my hatred of it sufficiently. It’s not intuitive, requires extra steps, and is a huge distraction. I can’t use my cell phone while I drive but can be expected to go through three separate display screens located below line of sight out the window

Yay you replaced the knobs I could reach for and feel with something that requires me to take my eyes off the road even to turn on my defroster, great job guys. Looking at the road is really overrated I guess.

Design Elements I hate: 10th gen Honda Civic.

Touch screen everything. While it looks pretty and all, it’s not the best way to interact with the vehicle. I will say some function can be move to the screen, but some function should still have physical interaction.

Daimler and Tesla had a partnership that resulted in the B-Class EV, so I’d say your story checks out.
