My e36 328is had winters on it. It was ever so slightly lowered. The tires were 225 width all around I remember. That thing was a TANK. I only got stuck once in a heavy Canadian snow because the car got high grounded basically. It was incredible.

I can't necessarily say I hate this car segment but it is definitely getting out of hand. However perhaps this segment will lead to more EL Camino-esque vehicles in the future for our "utility" and fun needs.
