Actually yes, Isaacson's book describes in depth Jobs' reality distortion field, which really did almost work like a Jedi Mind trick. Isaacson actually quotes people who, 30 minutes to an hour after meeting with Jobs, said things like "what in the world did I just agree to?", after the fog of his charisma lifted.
