So I keep sharing out articles on my facebook about the disaster that is SimCity. One of my friends actually asked me totally serious, "Hey, do you like it?" Had to explain to him I saw this shit storm months in advance and cancelled my pre-order.
EA, eh? no thank you.
Tempted, but I don't want to ruin my memory of how awesome this game is.
Don't need any pity, I never bought the damn game because I do stay informed.
I didn't buy it. Cancelled my pre-order right after the reddit debacle.
I'm sorry, but if I give you $60 for a piece of software. I want to be able to play it until the day that I stop breathing, not just until the next version comes along.
Since I was the younger brother growing up (default player 2), I have to agree.
Obviously you've made up your mind and are opting to purchase the "Project Durango." So to justify this decision you are going to spew hate on whatever Sony puts out.
That boomerang was just a placeholder design. I never bought into that atrocity.
My point is that none of us know him. Let me explain, he kinda reminds me of a friend of mine is who is really just misunderstood most of the time because he's just totally oblivious to social norms. He isn't a douche at all, but some might perceive him that way before they actually met him. Your opinion of this guy…
I've never met him, no one I know has met him. I can't just accept the internet's perception of the guy as a fact.
I did watch it. He seemed eccentric, but calling him a douche without knowing the guy seems a bit prejudice to me.
Phil Fish is a douche, eh? Did he kick your dog or something?
I stand with you, brother.
Which begs the question, when the hell are the going to figure it out??
Here's the thing, the amount of servers they had at launch would probably be acceptable if it were two months from now. How they fail to understand the demand of a game at launch, especially after Knights of the Old Republic, is beyond me.
The actual source of the problem is that they didn't plan the launch well at all. Somehow they failed to think that maybe anyone who pre-ordered the game will probably want to play it AT launch.
