I definitely consider myself liberal/left, but I often find myself pretty disgusted by how much discourse on the left sounds oddly like it’s promoting separation of the races.

I realized my main problem with this show - it’s a pilot. It’s similar to other recent series like Vida where you realize the entire season should’ve been one double episode, setting up the series.

A lot of stuff in this episode should have been in the first episode. Simple things like “what does the main character want, and why should I care? Other than because I owned his action figure as a child.”

Did last season get funny? I kinda need the show to be funnier. The whole thing feels...empty. I don’t know how else to explain it. I try to watch it and it’s like opening up bags of chips but there’s nothing in them.
