You don’t get away with abusing hundreds of children for decades without literally dozens of people knowing at bare minimum that something inappropriate is going on. And every one of those people should be publicly identified and held legally and financially responsible for their inaction.

Carlos Tevez makes me sad. At his best he’s one of the most talented players of his generation, but he also just seems like a huge piece of shit as a person and that’s led him to squander every opportunity he’s ever had sooner or later.

Agreed. Jim isn’t supposed to be the stand-up guy who calls out harassment and inappropriate behavior in the workplace, he’s supposed to be the likeable coward who would rather stay silent about his office’s massive HR problems than risk losing his pitiable but safe job. And if people are being honest, that’s a much

This take is hotter than the surface of the sun. I need to go apply aloe vera to my eyeballs to treat the burn. This is an all time, top 10 over the top comments I have ever read on this site. My dick is hard because of how much I love the shameless, unfounded hyperbole of this comment.

I went to Montreal for work in December and it was very dark and very, very cold. But the Canadians I met were all very good-natured about it and it’s a lovely city, so I don’t really have a complaint to file.

My wife and I failed less than a week in - we’re closing on our first house this week, moving into it over the course of the January weekends, and packing up everything in our apartment this week/this past week in preparation. And also we just entered my busiest time of the year for me at my job. Sooo long story short

Seriously. As a neutral fan watching this game I turned it off in the second quarter because it was so bad, but even up to that point I was gasping like a scandalized 19th century aristocrat who’s just learned their butler is accused of murder because of the number of cheap shots Taylor took to his head.

Thanks for providing such a perfect example of why everyone hates Patriots fans. Your team has had unparalleled success over the past 15 years and you’re still so insecure and thin-skinned about even mild criticism. God, fuck Boston.

Generally in any sport you don’t need a full-scale rebuild unless you fucked up earlier and made a long series of bad draft picks and trades, traded away too many of your good draft picks, and/or didn’t recognize the need for a partial rebuild until it was too late and you were stuck with no building blocks, no

I don’t know how you square saying that the genre is getting stagnant and then listing 3 movies that came out in the past year that you identify as having more originality.

Yes - hopefully at the expense of one of the automatic wins against West How the Fuck Are We a D1 School State.

Christ, an ownership stake? Please refresh my memory if I’m wrong, but I don’t remember Gruden being that great as a head coach. Like above average but not the best in the league by any stretch.

Yeah, one of the great promises of autonomous vehicles (which I am in general more skeptical of than I think a lot of people are) is that they can eradicate this kind of irrational and counter-productive behavior that causes more traffic but, because it seems so obviously common sense to drivers, will never be done

Ok - walk me through your reasoning here. This guy used abusive language towards subordinates, particularly towards women. He made unwanted sexual advances on female colleagues. He hired prostitutes for a work event. He was (belatedly) fired for doing these things. What about his firing, or the general disapproval of

Frowning on pre-marital sex is puritanical. Being judgmental about other people’s sex lives is puritanical. Treating female colleagues with respect and not subjecting them to a hostile work environment is not puritanical, nor does it really have anything to do with sexual mores.

My dude. Not being cool with a colleague hiring hookers for an office party is not “puritanical.” Telling guys to stop saying creepy shit to women is not “puritanical.” Come on.

I’m with you. My mom is really passive aggressive about the holidays, even when the reason I don’t go home is that my wife and I are visiting her family halfway across the country. Last year we just stayed home for Thanksgiving and had some friends over and it was glorious.

100% agree. I’ve recently started meditating and it’s been really helpful for managing my stress, anxiety, and other issues. But the way this stuff gets commodified is so weird and gross.

Marvel Unlimited is great - it’s how I do ~90% of comic book reading these days and let’s me read complete runs, stumble across old out of print stories, etc. I would really love for DC to release something similar - maybe linked to their new streaming service?

Sure, but I’d argue still easier to get to than the average sports arena. Even looking across the river at the Rangers, your average fan coming in from the northern suburbs, Connecticut, or New Jersey probably has a longer trip to MSG than your average Islanders fan has to Barclays.
