I agree with much of what you said. In general, I feel if people felt like they were getting more from their tax dollar (i.e. high-speed rail, reasonable healthcare, voting systems, etc..) they’d be more willing to part with their money. Although we do differ on free college.

We’re not talking about abolishing taxes to the rich all together here. Each of the programs you mentioned are important, but there are vast amount of inefficiencies there too. Debt continues to skyrocket, with zero plan or even ability to pay it down. It’s a ticking bomb, and people still continue to want to piss…

I agree that there is FAR too much waste in government spending. It’s created a massive hole, that is going to cripple the economy. Accountability needs to be a priority.
