@WingedGenius: an ipod with rockbox and the line out mod seems like a perfect solution for a portable audiophile "MP3" player. Huge file type support (including FLAC and other lossless formats) and a high quality line out? Sold!

I bought a $5 external dvd drive from craigslist and have been doing #4 for quite a while. I now have a purpose built external hard drive adaptor which my grandpa bought me. It can read SATA and PATA drives and includes both power adapters. It also looks a lot better than a hacked up external dvd drive.

@onlysublime: It's a cop car in a video game so it probably wasn't chosen because of it's merits as a cop car. Not to mention what kind of chase could even last 37 miles or 7 minutes at over 250 miles per hour?
