Jazz is one big solo, so that's not fair.

Who are those guys, country music?
The lady who was yowling away in Culture Club's "War" was pretty cool too. I can only really remember the bridge and chorus of that song….and that lady.
Barely knowing either of them, when I hear people say ELO, I usually think they're talking about OMD.
The problem with Genesis, outside of everyone who actually knew their music back in the 70's, is that Phil Collins was in it. Oh lawd.
I mentioned another TMBG song myself. :)
Yes, I love you for bringing that up. They've never been one of my favorite bands, until I'm hearing them…. even in my head, from memory.
♫ "nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn" ♫
Oh yeah, that Bojack song is tight.
Oh yes, the piano banging was glorious. And since Prince basically never made (musical) mistakes, you can be assured that he meant every note of it. :)
Prince's Around The World In A Day has some of the most cornball 80's sax you've ever heard.
R.E.M. "Fireplace"
(also the only sax solo)
"Neglected kidneys caused this"
I only remember the piano and guitar parts. That was one of the better early Bon Jovi songs though.
I can hear that CCG solo, note for note, in my head. Oh, yeah, that ending of TCfI just sound deliriously insane…. harsh brash awesomeness.
Why you wanna give them the runaround?
Man I love IG but I found that impossibly corny, along with Touch Me Fall. Never heard the original though.
Is that the old guy who used to shred on the ukelele in those old timey country folk songs?
Didn't read the article yet, but that's an easy one. The sweet vibraphone solo from They Might Be Giants' "Spiraling Shape" (apparently played by a fellow named Steve Light):

It's almost at the end, so just enjoy the song, and don't look out for it. :)
You can take my toaster when you pry my cold dead fingers from it…..
