RAGE RAGE BANG OUT ANGRY REPLY... THEN... reread... original post...

I respectfully disagree. Anything, and I mean ANYTHING that can be used to make children smile in pictures instead of making faces or grumping is a worthy addition to this world. Little buggers.

That's how you know it's serious! This is a cam install that says, "If I had no problem birthing this monstrosity, I will have no problem duct taping a cactus to a baseball bat and beating you senseless with it if I catch you trying to burgle me! Try it, I dare you!!"

That bites, but if you really wanted to try it regardless, you can just use the web version at [loseit.com] . Though, I've not viewed the website on a mobile browser, so I'm not sure how well the UI translates to a smaller screen.

Yes, I lost 18 pounds three months after starting use of the LoseIt app on my iPhone along with the corresponding site, loseit.com. All the changes were diet-related, with no changes in exercise (i.e. a once a week martial arts class). There were several factors in why LoseIt helped:

I can't tell you how jealous of you I am. Mostly because screaming and gesticulating wildly doesn't come across properly in print.

I have an iPad, and I have to say it's the bee's knees. There are of tons of apps and games for it, many of them free, and I've found myself using it for things I never thought I would, like checking out and reading library books electronically, in addition to using it as a portable video player, gaming machine, etc.

One thing I really loved about DS2 was, surprisingly, the acting. Gunner Wright and Sonita Henry were fantastic at imbuing their respective characters with real emotion that drew me into the story. Hell, if they were in a live-action flick, I'd go see it.

@PeteyCoco: I would totally buy that.

Oh, man, this is great!!! I've been waiting for this for ages to eliminate the confusion and having to adjust flight arrival/departures from different time zones. Can't wait to try it out!

@PathRifter: As someone who has interviewed a large number of people for technical positions, I must respectfully disagree with you. The primary point of a college education is not to get a degree (or even necessarily a job), but to *learn*. Students who concentrate on just getting a degree and not on actually

@beenyweenies: Hear, hear. I swear to God, every time an Apple competitor gets trashed, the nutters come out of the woodwork crying about how Gizmodo is soooo Apple-biased, and if it were made by Apple, Gizmodo would be sucking its teat, etc. This article lacks major substance? What about the reports of its fantastic

The picture with the brown clouded MobileMe made me laugh partly because of the absurdity but also because of it's appropriateness. I have experienced MobileMe sync problems, like a mysterious self-replicating birthday event that has duplicated itself now over 200 times. And, since there's no easy way to select

Undying was an amazing and horrifying game, up until the ending level when it went with a bizarre prehistoric angle. There were tons of scary moments: encountering the howlers for the first time, casting the Scrye spell and seeing the family portrait in a new light, wandering the darkened manor with wind blowing the

This is a fantastic before-and-after. The slate blue grey walls combined with that classy wraparound desk and the glass cabinets on top really make this an awesome home office. Well done!

@Preyfar: Your fingers are merely reacting to the magic.

@Le Starman Royale, duc des Mudkips et des modules MIDI: It's called "Truckers Delight", which is an 8-bit-style video of a trucker pursuing a beautiful woman, complete with video game conventions like powerups. It's fairly amusing for being so completely over the top, but don't watch it around kids - it has (8-bit)

@Prairie Moon: I recently had a home office put in at my house. When I specified I wanted a lock put on the door, my wife got very offended. "Why would you want to lock ME out?" she said, eyes narrowed with suspicion. After that, I didn't dare suggest the red recording studio-style light...

@not_a_virus.exe.vbs: What kind of ants? Big black ones (carpenter) or small red ones? I've had a loooot of unwanted experience with carpenter ants, and the best bet short of destroying the nest, assuming you actually know where it is, is baiting.

I can attest to this. Selling our house as a FSBO in the NYC suburbs a couple years ago, I argued endlessly with my wife about pricing. She insisted that "the game" was to price high and then bargain down, because people fixate on the asking price and only expect to pay that amount or less in this economy. I argued
